Gloria Patrick Downing Franks, 75, of New Bern, NC passed Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
Viewing Only at the Church Saturday.
Her service is Noon, Saturday, February 3, 2024 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Perrytown Community, New Bern, NC. Interment will follow in the St. Paul MBA Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, James Franks, Newport News, VA; two daughters, Stephenie Guerra, New Bern, Kimberley Franks, Chester, VA; three brothers, Harry Brown, Houston, TX, Howard Brown, New Bern, Alfred Brown, Oxon Hill, MD; sisters, Mary George and Kathleen Harvey, New Bern; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
To the Family of Gloria Franks, It is with deep sorrow that I was made aware of Gloria's passing. She was always a caring and compassionate person with a heart of gold. Our friendship goes back for years as she will be Remembered forever. May she always rest in peace. Dr. Johnny Williams

Dear Family, Cousin Pat's beautiful smile and great sense of humor will surely be missed. We are thankful for blessing she was to her Aunt Mattie at her 99th and 100th birthday parties.

I remember back in Fox Chase, going across the street and she would give me any snack I wanted lol! I was raised like she was family. Definitely praying for Aunt Step & all my cousins. I love y'all! She can party with my mom in heaven now.
