Hilda Brown Smith,65, of Bayboro died Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.
Viewing hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday at Oscar's Mortuary.
Her service is 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 1, 2021 on the Grounds of Oscar's Mortuary 1700 Oscar Drive. The interment will follow at the Hudnell Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Smith, Bayboro; daughter, Tontrisa Porter and grandson, Brendyn Porter both of Bayboro.
Masks are required.

My condolences. Although I have known Hilda, Mrs. Brown, Fred and Eugene since elementary school, I became friends with Hilda on FB via my food posts and my bird posts while enjoying friendly banter with her. I enjoyed Hilda's posting of exotic and beautiful birds and flowers too. I was shocked and hurt to learn of Hilda's passing but know Hilda made a lasting and great impression on me via our mutal interest if wonderful food and beautiful birds and flowers too. Rest now my friend.
