Hilda Jones Gibbs, 80, of Mesic, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Crystal Coast Hospice, Newport, North Carolina.
Her service is 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 18, 2025 at The New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters 885 Hwy. 306 N, Grantsboro. The Interment will follow at Mesic Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Admire Gibbs of the home; her children, Andre Gibbs, Mesic, NC, Gale Thompson (Anthony) Dorchester, MA, Eric Gibbs (Adrienne), Chicago, Ill; two sisters, Isabella Mestre, New York, NY and Valerie Knox, Elizabeth City, NC; two brothers, Rodney Jones (Trudy) Fayetteville, NC and Reverend Theron Jones (Patricia) Mesic, NC.
