Howard “Haywood Jr.” William Gibbs,79, of Pamlico County entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Riverpoint Crest Rehabilitation Center, New Bern.
His Service is 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Pilgrim Chapel M. B. Church 1412 Silverbrook Rd., Oriental. The interment will follow at The Odd Fellow Cemetery.
He is survived by his sister, Hazel Gibbs Smith, Mesic, NC; brother, Timothy Williams, Macon, GA; sister of the heart, Delores Gibbs, Oriental, NC.
Hazel and tem and Delores my hearts go out to you and you have my prayers I know what you are going though right now because one year ago in January 2025 I lost my last brother and it seam like it were just yesterday so just remembered l am here if you need me I can't do much but I will do what I can stay strong and hole on to God unchained hand love you all away Marleen saunders
