Mother Walker was a beautiful woman of God she loved her self some Jesus and she always had the biggest smile, and she gave the biggest hugs and when she came to Virginia all the saints would run and give her a hug she brought joy and laughter and prayers, Mother Walker could pray and I remember she would praise God around the church and everyone else would start praising God. She was an amazing Person she blessed Everyone's Heart she will be missed.
Mother Walker was a beautiful woman of God ,I remember when she use to come to Virginia to visit all the saints would run and hug her she was Holy and Loved herself some Jesus,She always had a Big smile and hug she ues to ask me how u doing and the kids Cynthia I would say good she would encourage me and tell me to be strong in the Lord,I remember her shout she would praise God all around the church, she was a Beatifal Woman of God.
Sis. Walker would get up early in the morning, every Sunday morning. She joined the Children's church team and assisted with serving the children breakfast each Sunday. She served with a smile and reassured each child that they were somebody. The majority of all of those kids were filled with the Holy Ghost that year and the year after. We averaged 85 to 90 children who were picked up from all parts of New Bern. They were also baptized in Jesus' name. Their behaviors changed so much for the better that their parents called the church to see what was going on. They were so happy that their kids lives were changing for the good. All of them were warmly greeted by Sis. Walker and loved being near her.
Our Pastor, Pastor Griffith, loved having Sis. Walker as a saint in church. He often told the whole church that she was an encouragement to EVERY Man of God who got in that pulpit. She was used in the gifts of the Spirit and it was a great help to the whole church family.
She was one of the best persons on this earth. She was close to God and He directly spoke to her whenever she prayed. Her relationship with God was incredible. She was so positive and such strong discerning of spirits. She loved to encourage others.
Phyllis, Edward and family, our hearts are with you during this time of loss and the time ahead. We pray that God will continue to keep you all as we continue to keep you lifted in pray. You have our deepest sympathy. Love u all. Cousins Susan Mayfield-Barber, Docia Lee and Evang. Ethel Nelson.

We are surprised and saddened by the announcement about Jackie's death. For a certainty, in this life death continuously disrupts our peace and serenity. How we all can look forward to the Bible's promise of uninterrupted peace that will last forever at Psalm 72:7. May the beginnings of that peace be experienced today by Jackie's family and friends. Joseph Bizzell and Evelyn Bizzell-Hilton, Havelock, NC
