James Artur Batie,89, of New Bern was called to rest on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
Friends will be received at the residence.
His Service is 1:00 PM, Monday, March 9, 2026 at Reform Shiloh M. B. Church 406 Plum St. James City Community of New Bern.
The interment will follow at Meadows Cemetery with Military Honors.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Batie, New Bern; two daughters, Tina Renee Batie Davis, Raleigh, NC and Tanya Michelle Batie, Sumter, SC; two grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Batie, Mobile, AL; one sister, Johnnie Edna Christian, Troy, AL.
