James Earl Lewis Sr.,81, of New Bern was called to rest on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
His Service is 11:00 AM Friday, September 26, 2025 at Mt. Olive M. B. Church 9335 Hwy. 304 N, Mesic. The interment will follow at Mesic Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, James Earl Lewis, Jr. (Kim), Raleigh, NC; daughters, Lisa Gibbs, (Jay), South Carolina, Nicole Gibbs, Raleigh, NC; daughters of the heart, Yolanda (Robert) Hill, New Bern, Faith (Elgin) Stilley and Senta (Demetrius) Davis, Maribel; Nicole Gibbs, Raleigh, NC; brothers, Jimmy (Michelle) Apostle Timmy Jarvis (Jackie) , Jarvis, Myron (Marie) Jarvis; sisters, Ellen Lewis, Boston, Arlene Lewis, Boston, Kathy Jarvis, Maribel, NC; Flora Jones, Mesic, NC; and Marvella Jones, Maribel, NC; seven grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren

Loving you was easy cause you made it fun to do! I never a heavy word from you just calmness and a smile just like Grandma. Every memory I can recall has always been pleasant and funny.
