Janet Hudson Ruth,57, of the Pembroke Community of New Bern transitioned Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at her residence.
Friends may visit at the residence from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Her Service is 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Wesley Covenant Methodist Church Hwy. 17 N, New Bern.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy P. Ruth, New Bern and her son, Timothy P. Ruth II, New Bern; five sisters, Sandra Sampson, Vanceboro, Robin Houtman, Jackie Jackson, Vanessa Hudson and Shelia Ward of New Bern.
Janet was an exceptionally kind person who left an indelible mark on everyone she met. I remember her love for, and great contributions to, our school band. May God comfort her family and friends, and may cherished memories sustain you now, and forever.
So sorry to hear of Janet's passing who was my classmate. I will definitely miss her gentle smile and kind spirit that she carried all through school. I'm sorry to hear about Janet's passing. Our prayers are with Tim and Timmy Jr and their whole family in this time of sorrow. Janet was very kind when me and Tim would catch lots of extra fish.
