He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie Kurz of the home; one daughter, Kimbery Devito, New Bern; three sons, John Kurz, Woodridge, New Jersey, Jason Kurz, Freehold, New Jersey and Jeffrey Kurz, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey; one brother, George Kurz, Virginia; two sisters, Frances Gagliano, Pennsylvania and Barbara Malloy, Montvale, New Jersey; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
