My deepest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with John Sr. (Baby John) through my dear friend, Carol Summers. His radiant smile, and warm and welcoming spirit, made you instantly feel like you were family. I am blessed to have experienced the fruits of his labor (literally!) enjoying delicacies he carefully cultivated like his fresh from the garden corn, hot pickles, and the sweetest grapes I have ever had in my life. May his spirit live on in each of you and may his soul rest in peace. -Victoria Dancy
I've had the pleasure of meeting you once, but have formed and maintained a relationship with John Jr for 30 yrs. I offer my prayers and condolences to the entire family. Brian & Jackie Morris, Fayetteville NC

My sincere condolences to the family during this most difficult time. I know John, Sr. (Baby John) through my dear friend, Carol Summers. John welcomed me to his home to teach me to pick corn from his beautifully landscaped yard. He was such a joy to be around, a caring man so full of life & laughter. I remember how he would joke and light up a room with his wide grin. Family, I will continue to lift you up in prayer, and trust you will find comfort in your memories. Rest in Peace. ~Helen Buggs

My heart is so heavy. I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and I hope that thought brings some comfort during my family's time of grieving. I can still remember those intense games of UNO that Uncle John used to play. He always won and claimed he won fair and square. I remember the smile on his face and the laughter his jokes would bring. I hope these are the memories that will carry you through. Sorrowfully Submitted Your neice Tina
