Her Service is 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Philippi Church of Christ 3760 Philippi Drive, Greenville. The Interment will follow at Homestead Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Bishop Farries Slade,Greenville, NC; two sons, Farries Slade Jr., New Bern and Joseph Slade (Mamie) Farmville, NC; Kemila Slade, Pembroke, NC, Tiffany Blackmon (Tiffany) Kinston, NC, Ebony Slade Keys, Buyou, MD and Peaches Slade Avivo (Allen) Philadelphia, PA; her brother, Charles Britt ( Joyce) and one sister, Mary Brown of New Bern; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
