Katrina McClammy, 59, of New Bern died Saturday, December 3, 2022.
Katrina's request was No funeral service. She wants to be remembered as she was.
She is survived by her mother, Geraldine S. Smith, New Bern; one son, Melvin Murphy, New Bern, NC; daughter, Shemika Boyd, Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Kenneth McClammy, New Bern and Melvin McClammy, Greensboro; three sisters, Decarla Mittman, Greensboro, Gardenia McClammy,Raleigh, Wanzer Faye Congleton, New Bern; six grandchildren, Kyelena, Jerrel and Teiara Wilson; Shyheim and Elijah Brown and Maylasia Sey; brother-in-law, Frank Collazo, Raleigh;uncles, aunts, nieces nephews and friends.
I will never forget you "Ms. Trina" you made me laugh and smile and whether you know it or not you truly impacted me positively and I will miss your smile. What a beautiful soul.

Katrina has been my friend since 1st grade! When i would come home to new bern i would tell my daughter we gotta go to walmart so i could see her! My heart is broken but i know i will see her on the other side! My thoughts and prayers are with the her loving family!
