Obituary For Keith Lavon Gilliam, Jr.

Keith Lavon Gilliam, Jr., 36, of Bayboro died Monday, January 24, 2022 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

His service is 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Pamlico County High School Auditorium. The interment will follow at the Perkins Cemetery, Oriental.

He is survived by his wife, Niesheia Gilliam and their daughter Yeriel Gilliam; son, Christian Alston; daughters, Kahrisma Johnson and Nakeithsia Gilliam; his mother, Andre Midgette and father, Keith Gilliam Sr.; brother George Midgette III; three sisters, Tyquanna Butts, Keisha Tutt and Tywanna Tutt; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Woodard and paternal grandmother, Bertha Gilliam.

Masks are required and social distancing followed.

Our family was devastated over the loss of our family member-Keith. He has spent many days with us growing up and in his adulthood. He was closer than a cousin, but more like a brother to our sons. He loved being around his family, laughing and joking, and loved to eat!!! He will be truly missed! R.I.P. in the arms of the Lord! We love you dearly!
