I pray for Paps family this is such a major loss of a good man. One of the best guys i ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. A big part of bringing me closer to God and some of the most important lessons were learned working with him on the side of the many roads of Craven County. Couldnt have asked for a better person to spend that time with. He cared deeply about those around him and would tell you the honest truth when you needed to hear it. I hate to hear hes gone. Wish I could hear him say BINGO again. But i am extremely grateful I got to meet and spend so much time with such a genuinly good person. God bless ol Pappy

My sincere condolences to the family, Pap and Carolyn is my classmates who I love so dearly. Carolyn my heart is broken for u cause i seen u and him from the beginning. Pap and I use to sit along side the road in James city in our work trucks and talk almost every week or just yell at each other out the window. I'm truly gonna miss our conversations, RIP my brother.
It is hard to believe he is gone, but he will never be forgotten. He was one of the hardest working men I knew. He would drive for me when I had to preach long distance, and he kept us laughing all the way there and back. Carolyn we are truly praying for you and the family through this difficult time. Pap was truly a good Samaritan, and would help whoever he could. RIP my Brother
