His Service is 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 6, 2026 at Oscar's Memorial Chapel 1700 Oscar Drive. The Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Marty Allen, Charlotte,NC; daughter, Judith Ateman (Kristopher) New Bern, NC; brother, Joseph Jones, New Bern; two grandchildren, Kennedy Allen-Mills and Ni'Ayla Ateman; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
