Laura Edwards Pugh,72, of Vanceboro entered into eternal rest Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
Her service is 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 7, 2025 at Oscar's Memorial Chapel 1700 Oscar Drive, New Bern, NC.
She is survived by her husband, Elijah Lee Pugh Jr. of the home; three sons, Elijah Lee Pugh III, Tucson, AZ, William Lamont Pugh and Robert Jarod Pugh both of Vanceboro, NC; one daughter Evangeline Pugh, Greenville, NC; four grandchildren; four sisters, Doris Edwards, Carrie Ward, Deloris Edwards and Mary Gaskins all of Vanceboro, NC; four brothers, Allen Edwards, New Bern, Vernon Edwards and Raymond Edwards both of Vanceboro, NC and Charles Edwards, Kentucky.
I was so sorry to hear of the passing Laura she was such a sweet acting person,she will most certainly be missed.

Laura Pugh was a wonderful person she cared for you no matter who you are and loved you no matter who you are she would try to take care of you treat you like her son or daughter no matter what and I pray she peacefully relax to the afterlife.

To Laura's family. I have been knowing Laura for a long time Her sister Deloris and I were classmates. She will be missed but sleep on and take your rest. We love you, but God saw the road was getting a bit hard so He called her home. Praying God will comfort and strengthen you all today and in the days ahead.
