Leon Hinton Gibbs, 74, a native of Oriental died on January 22, 2021 in New Haven, CT.
He is survived by his wife, Alberta Gibbs of New Haven, CT; four children, Vickie Sanders, William Gibbs, Krista Gibbs, Leon Gibbs Jr., two sisters, Carolyn A. Jarvis, Boston, MA, Jacqueline G. Matthews, Raleigh, NC, three brothers, Venice R. Gibbs, Raleigh, NC, Darrell C. Gibbs, and Randy L. Gibbs, Oriental, NC; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Temple Church, Dixwell Ave, New Haven CT. Friday, February 5 at 10:00 am Wake, 11:00 am.
