Obituary For Mac Arthur Bryant
Mac Arthur Bryant, 81, passed Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
His service is 12:00 PM., Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Biblical House Of God. The interment will follow at the Carmon Family Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the residence of MacArthur and Veronica Howard 4708 Corena Drive.
He is survived by his daughters, Alice Carmon and Barbara Sumner (Darren), New Bern; sons, MacArthur Howard (Veronica),New Bern, Anthony Carmon (Eva), New Bern and Ernest Johnson, CA; sisters, Nellie Strickland, Burlington, Arlene Rasberry, Raleigh and Leather Hall, Jasper Community; seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Big Mac (aka my buddy) was truly the light of our neighborhood. Every morning he greeted everyone with a warm "Good morning," "Hey there," or a gentle "be safe". I'll truly miss seeing him on the porch each day, smiling and wavingβhis cheerful, giving spirit will never be forgotten. Mac, Veronica, and family, you're in my thoughts and prayers.
