Our deepest condolences to Dr. Barnwell and the family on the passing of your beautiful wife and mom, Mary Catherine Barnwell. Our fondest memories were centered around our interactions at our beloved Ebenezer Presby Church. We will miss her but you will miss her most. Rest in Heavenly Peace Mary.
I remember as a youth, Mrs Barnwell speaking kindly to us. She was a neighborhood mother. I remember her son, "John John" playing with my brother. Mrs. Barnwell always knew where to find him when he would lose track of time. Rest queen. Floretta Barrett Campbell
As a child I remember Mrs. Barnwell always speaking kindly to us, my bothers playing with John. She knew where to find him when it was time for him to be home. Rest queen.
Special prayers are spoken to the Father on your behalf. Be encouraged. I know you will miss her but just know she and Renee will be waiting for you when you arrive. Mrs. Barnwell was my friend and I loved her. Pastor B.H. Rodgers

We send our sincere condolences to the family. Mrs. Barnwell will be greatly missed. She always welcomed us as we enjoyed her slightly sweet lemonade and dainties. Her conversations were always stimulating and full of wisdom. Her love, strength, kindness and smiles will always be remembered. I recall the lovely roses and other flowers she tended with your father - Dr. Barnwell. They were often seen during the poolside chats in the backyard. She was indeed a lovely rose in this world. May you continue the legacy of love and caring. May you receive strength and the warmth of God's embrace. "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid". (John 14:27) Teresa Murrell Huddleston & family
