Melvin and Lorraine became close friends after my late husband and I joined Temple Church. Our dogs even became friends as they kept our Levi with Angel when we traveled. Lorraine entrusted Melvin's care to me when she left town on family business. After relocating, we retained this friendship and telephoned each other often. Melvin was a man of God who was serious about his faith . Rest In Peace, dear friend.
My deepest condolences to the family. Melvin was a light in my life. I'll miss our prayer times together. Donna Alderson, New Bern, NC
