Anita l Davis-Haywood sent Heavenly & Harmony for Melvin Curtis Odum Sr. - June 08, 2022
With heartfelt love, prayer, and condolences to Crystal Odum and family. From you Transit Family, (Anita Davis-Haywood, Sharon Peterson, Tammy Romain)
I miss you.
Dear Odum Family, so very sorry for your loss. Your Dad was super cool. I can hear his voice saying to me "Robin where is Batman". I smile everything I think about that. I would like to say lead on God during these times. To be absent with the body is to be present with the Lord. In Jesus name Amen. Love You Robin & Russ Woodley.
Dear Meffin, aka "Melvin" I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to see you again, but I'm so glad the pain is gone. As usual, you were decked out from head to toe, heard you even had a smile on your face. That's the only way you would have it. Under normal circumstances your Celebration of Life would have been "Standing Room Only" even though there was alot of love in the roomβ€ I ordered you some Girl Scout Cookies but I didn't have a chance to send them to you. When I eat them, I'll do it the way you would have. Eat a few, sip some soda, and giggle; or have a few, sip some coffee, and giggle again. How did that go again, 'Hee, hee, hee." I'm gonna miss our phone calls and your thoughtfulness. You always asked about everyone even when you weren't feeling well. always trying to help. You weren't just a brother-in-law, you were a brother! I'll miss your MTA stories too, even though I know most of them by heart. (smile) I tucked a piece of you away in my heart so we won't be too far apart. Love you Meffin, Rest Well ππ₯ππ₯

My heart is heavy as I send these condolences. Uncle Melvin was one of the best uncles I could've asked for and his generosity, humor and good spirit will be missed. Love you always.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh MY help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved, he that keepth thee will not slumber.Behold ,he that keepth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep Psalm 121,May GOD continue to bless you all throughout this trying time
