Minnie Elizabeth Ward Staten,78, died November 29, 2022 at the home of her daughter.
Friends will be received at 133 Sleepy Ridge Drive, Dover.
Her funeral service is 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Trinity AME Zion Church. The interment will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Staten of Dover and Pamela Staten Johnson, New Bern; one son, Richard Thomas Staten Jr., Vanceboro; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
We called her Ms. Minnie when she worked at Moen in New Bern. Always such a glorious light that came from her ever present big smile. I will always remember her and the feeling of love you would get from her presence. May your memories comfort you in your time of grief. Ms. Minnie is truly loved. Kathy Maness
