May you rest easy, my friend. May the legacy you have left behind in New Bern live on for many years to come. I am grateful for the man, the myth, the legend—Billy Boy—and for the countless ways you cared for families throughout the community, always making sure they were doing well.
Your kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to others touched so many lives and will never be forgotten. You will be truly missed, but your spirit and the memories you created will remain with us forever.
Rest well, my friend. Until we meet again.
Sleep in peace Unk!!! Gonna miss u dancing!!!
To the family and friends of my dad; God bless and keep us all. I'll never ever forget Robert LeCraft. He made sure I was able to stand on my feet and take care of my children as a single mother. He will forever be loved and missed. No one lives forever but it's just crazy realizing we must go on in this world without him. All the laughs, good eats, fussing me out, hating that red wig I use to wear, and fusible out about worrying about those brothers of mine and my children. Until we meet again and I hope we all meet again in the afterworld. Love you!
To the Family of Billy Boy, My deepest and most heartfelt condolences are with you. Billy Boy was one of the true OGs of New Bern — a presence you felt the moment he walked into a room. And when his songs came on, especially Just In Case by Jaheim or Overtime by Chris Brown, he turned into a dancing machine. Watching him hit the floor when those tracks played was pure joy. His energy, his rhythm, and the way he lit up the space will never be forgotten. May his memory continue to bring you comfort, laughter, and love. Sending strength and heartfelt sympathy to the entire family during this difficult time.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
