Napoleon Reed Jr., 86, of Havelock a native of Blackville, South Carolina was called to rest on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Service arrangements are pending at Green Chapel M. B. Church 450 Hickman Hill Loop Rd., Havelock. The interment will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Reed, of the home; one son, Shawn T. Reed (Joyce) , Raleigh, NC; four sisters, Eva Bell Collins, Greensboro, NC, Catherine Mack, Evelyn Coker and Shirley R. Elmore all of Blackville, SC.
We are so sorry for your loss and offer our condolences. I can remember when Mr. Reed gave me my first retail job at his shop called T-shirt plus in Twin Riversall in New Bern,NC. I loved that job and had such a a great time working there. I have fond memories and I will never forget his kindness. Rest well and sleep in peace Mr. Reed
I am truely sorry my brother has pass on....I will always remember when you ask Napoleon how he is doing... he would always respond with "super, super". He will be missed.
