Rayfield Ganues Sr.,81, of Arapahoe passed Friday, January 10, 2025.
His service is 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters 885 Hwy. 306 N, Grantsboro. The interment will follow at the Ganues Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Blango Ganues of the home; one son, Rayfield Ganues Jr., New Bern; four daughters, Georgia Blango, Charlotte, Velma Hackney, New Bern, Sandra Smith, Arapahoe and Katrina Ganues of the home; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five sisters, Dorothy Moore, Blounts Creek, NC, Shirley Saunders, Alliance, NC, Maria Collins, Betty Hill and Gertie Boomer all of Arapahoe.
