I didn't get to attend my sisters homegoing. We were 11 months apart. I loved her dearly. She was real especially when she was teaching me about our Father God. I will miss her . To the family we need to pray for one another and walk in love . Forgive and live . So when we stand before Christ on judgement day . He will be pleased and we will see our love one again
We send our deepest condolences to the Becton family. Deborah was a very kind, intelligent, loving, amazing God fearing woman. She knew the word of God and loved sharing it. She also had an anointed singing voice, that we cherished. We looked up to her as our elder in the Lord. She taught us many spiritual things. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Love Tim and Rev. Vida Jenkins
The Havelock High School Class of 1977 extends our sincere condolences to the family of our beloved DEBORAH HOWARD BECTON! We loved her and will miss her beauty, laughter, love, smiles, talents and wit!
Trell & Josh, words can never comfort you on the loss of your Angel. She was always so pleasant and comforting, and definitely made a huge impact on our community. My thoughts love and prayers are with you all. May God grant you the strength and discernment. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. RIP Rev. Deborah. ๐๐พโค๏ธ
To the Becton, Williams and Gaskins family. John 10:10 I have come that they may have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Ephesians 2:8, It is by grace that we all have been saved through faith. And this is NOT from ourselves, it is the gift of God. Reverend Harrison Becton and family, please accept our sincere condolences in the passing of your precious Reverend Deborah Becton. She was a woman who welcomed God's Grace into her life. His grace was all around her.She saw it, she embraced it! She was just enough for God, she was enough for herself and she was certainly enough for her family and all who loved and admired her loving and positive spirit. Reverend Deborah was never fully dressed in all of her fashionable attire until she put in her beautiful smile and gave a Word from the Lord. She held herself to a standard of Grace, Not perfection, even during her time as a teacher in the classroom. Her grace was sufficient as she preached, taught, advised and loved on her students. She was truly a blessing! She was the epitome of God's gift to the church, school and community. She will be missed, but God in His omnipotence has prevailed. We extend to the Family our most fervent prayers.praying God's enduring strength during this time of bereavement. Lovingly Submitted, Rev. Thelma Becton, Hazel, Ed, Diana,Herman, James and Deacon Robert Dozier and the entire Family. Of

Continue: Cousin, as we gotten older, we lost touch but my memory of you was during my childhood. I would always go and talk with you and while you were stationed away in SC, I wrote to you all of the time as a little girl and you would write me back. You were then like my big sister. You took up a lot of time with me as a child. Now, I am sending my sincere condolences to your husband, sons and family! May you rest in peace! With warm thoughts, Sonji Godette-Lewis
