The funeral service is 11:00 AM, Friday, October 2, 2026 at The Pillars of Faith Holy Church, 501 Bryant Point Rd. Accokeek, Maryland.

Interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Cemetery, Waldorf, Maryland.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Latasha Matthews; one son, Richard A. Matthews; one sister, Peggy Miller; one granddaughter, Amari Hubbard and a host of other relatives and friends.
