Robert James Brown,79, of Goldsboro a native of Pollocksville, NC died Monday, July 11, 2022 at N. C. State Veterans Home, Fayetteville.
Viewing is 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM Wednesday at Oscars' Mortuary.
Family visitation is 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Mark DOC Church 700 West Ashe St., Goldsboro, Thursday, July 14, 2022.
His service will begin at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 14, 2022 at St. Mark Disciples of Christ Church. The interment will follow at the Frank Murphy Cemetery, Pollocksville.
He is survived by his wife, Rosetta Thomas Brown, Goldsboro and brother, Reverend Joseph C. Brown and wife, Sandra, Fayetteville.
Masks are required.

I worked with R.J. both day and night for over 30 years. We laughed and argued over those years, but always left the job friends. One of the safest and most dedicated conductors I ever worked with.
