My condolences to the family and friends. I will miss Robert Lee he was one of the sweetest cousins I had, I can honestly say I never seen him upset when I was little or in my adult years. I gonna miss him yelling my name "CANDRIS" π every time he would see me at the piggly wiggly on Simmons, cousin would always talk to me at least 15 minutes or more to see how I was doing and my children, he genuinely cared about me and it showed. I remember I would always ask him "what you guys doing in that shed" during the Kearney family reunions, when I was finally old enough to know I was like Ohhhh okayπ (I'm going to stop my memory at this point, if you know what I'm talking about then you know π€£) Debbo and Robert Lee was there for me when I lost my grandma Mary and I Love them both for that because I was a mess. I know cousin is in a better place. Once again my condolences to Debbo, Rufus, Michelle and all Robert Lee's children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncle's. Rest In Heaven Cousin πππ

Oscar Funeral Home 1700 Oscar Drive New Bern, North Carolina 28562 Brother Rufus Kearney and family: Please know that we share your sorrow at the loss of your brother Robert. Losing a loved one is the hardest valley we must travel through in this world. Yet God's Word gives us the assurance that we will be victorious over sadness and pain through the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Even in your present sadness, we rejoice at the knowledge that your Brother was a faithful Christian and family man that gave his life to the Lord and served faithfully until the end. As you know, the greatest joy for a Christian believer is to be able to join the Apostle Paul in saying, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7 NIV) Your Brother did fight the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Now, he will rest from his labor and will dwell in the house of the Lord forever! Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal As your brothers and sister in Christ, we want to comfort and support you in any way we can and pray that God will work through us to surround you with his love. Don't hesitate to let us know how we can best help you walk this difficult path. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the comfort of the Holy Spirit be with you now and always. Yours in Christ Sylvester & Luvenia Hall Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalms 23:6
