Paid Obituary
We, the Pastor and Members of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Robert Tyson during this time of sorrow. Celia, you're in my thoughts and prayers.
Dear Uncle Bobby,
Growing up, my mother would share stories about you. She'd describe those Sundays when the family would gather after church and head to the beach—picnicking by the water, laughing, just enjoying each other's company.
She spoke of your kindness, your easygoing nature, and how good it felt just to be around you. Though I never had the chance to meet you, I feel as if I know you through her memories.
Your life reaches across time, touching even those who never knew you personally. You made an impression that continues to ripple through generations. That's a rare and beautiful legacy. May your spirit rest peacefully. And may all who were touched by your life find comfort in the love you left behind.
Love, Your great-niece, Adrienne (Daughter of Michelle L. Tyson)

My deepest condolences to the TYSON family, We would always call or visit each other, I salute you Sergeant Robert Lee TYSON SR.
I want to extend my condolences to the family. As we come together not just to grieve, but to celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man — Robert Lee Tyson Sr., my sisters and I know him as simply Uncle Bobby.
I believed he was a man of quiet strength and deep faith, someone who didn't need to say much to make a lasting impact. His life spoke volumes. Whether it was through a gentle word of encouragement, a helping hand, or simply showing up when you needed him most, Uncle Bobby (Robert Lee Tyson Sr.) lived with a heart for God and a love for people.
He loved his family fiercely, and I believed that he prayed for them often. Even though we miss him deeply, we take comfort in knowing he's now at peace-no more pain, no more struggle—just resting in the presence of the Lord.
Scripture tells us in 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." That was Uncle Bobby (Robert Lee Tyson Sr.). He lived well, loved hard, and finished strong.
So while this is hard — and it's okay to feel that — let's also smile through the tears. Let's tell the stories, share the laughs, and hold close the lessons he taught us. Let's carry on the love and the faith he planted in each of us.
We'll see you again, Uncle Bobby (Robert Lee Tyson Sr.). But until then, rest easy and know that your legacy lives on through all of us.
With love, The Tyson Family
