Robert Lewis Brown Sr.,79, of New Bern was called to rest on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
His service is 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Clinton Chapel AMEZ Church 1015 Church St., New Bern. The interment will follow at The Historic Meadows Cemetery, James City Community with Military Honors.
He is survived by his wife, Meral Jean Stewart Brown of the home; one son, Robert L. Brown Jr., Greenville, NC; one daughter, Tracey Brown Moore (Michael), New Bern; four brothers, Rosevelt Benjamin, St. Albans, NY, Caswell Harris, Pennsauken, NJ, Don Harris, New Bern, Darrell Penn, Jacksonville, AK; eight sisters, Rachel Forbes (Robert), Iris Perkins, Erma Brown Spears (James, Dale Gibbs (Frankie), Evelyn Tutt (Barlett) all of New Bern, NC, Victoria Jessup, GA, JoAn Russell (David) Winston Salem, Cynthia Penn Halal (Charles), Ormond Beach, FL.
