Sending condolences and prayer to prayer to Regina, Sharon and my nephew Jarmaine. Jarmaine was your first grandchild and you was a wonderful and blessing to him and my sister during his early years of life. Sallie was a precious and caring mother and grandmother.

She said that she loved him being a friend to her sister, Mrs. Sarah Clark. If Mrs. Sarah was out of town, she was one of the ones that made sure Daddy had his dinner. She will be missed. I absolutely adored Ms. Sallie, whom I met through her daughter Sharon. We were classmates and best friends. I got to know the entire family - Regina, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ms. Sallie consistently encouraged me and always had something nice to say whenever she saw me, even into my adult years. I met Mrs. Sallie through my sister friend Regina about 14 years ago. Regina and I were neighbors, who very quickly clicked and became family, and through that friendship, I inherited a new niece Stephanie, a nephew Daniel, cousin Cleveland, sister Sharon and mother Mrs. Sallie, and a host of other beautiful family members. We've stayed with Mrs. Sallie, went to family reunions and enjoyed her wonderful home cooking. My son Donovan, enjoyed her delicious corn bread, which he ate many pieces and she enjoyed watching him eat. She even fussed at me for telling him he had eaten enough. Mrs. Sallie reminded me of my mom because they share the same name and in ways mannerism. She will be missed but the love and kindness she showed me and my two son's will never be forgotten. Rest in the loving arms of Christ our Savior & Father! Love to the family, Sonja, Denzal & Donovan (aka Boom Boom)!

Our family loved this woman with all our hearts. She worked for us & worked beside me for many years in Vandemere serving public, she was with us after each one of our children were born and anytime I ever needed her she was always by our side. She watched my children grow into adults just like they were her own. We will miss her, but always remember the love she felt for us.
