Reverend Serinus Guylespa Willis, Sr., took his eternal rest on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the residence.
His funeral service is 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the New Bern Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 885 Highway 306 North, Grantsboro. Interment will follow at St. Francis M.B. Church Cemetery, Blounts Creek.
He is survived by his wife, Fannie Willis of the home; son, Serinus Willis, Jr.; daughters, Katrina Taylor, Fene` Smith; brothers, Elder Charles Willis, Sr., Kennis Willis; sister, Janice Lawrence; nine grandchildren.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Willis. He was always so nice to me and never changed, always giving me words of encouragement. Even though I haven't seen him in a while it still feels like yesterday. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Praying for you during this difficult time.
I am certain that heaven gain a mighty warrior in the Lord's army. Bishop Serinus always took time to share with me passages of scripture and encouraged me to know of God's overwhelming love for all of us.
