Shawn Rozelle Freeman, 48 of New Bern, NC died Friday April 18, 2025.
Viewing hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday and 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM, Saturday at the Mortuary.
Her service is 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 10, 2025 at St. Peterβs AME Zion Church 617 Queen St. New Bern. The interment will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Cassandra Murrell of New Bern; father Frederick R. Freeman of Long Island, NY; two brothers, Sharod Murrell of New Bern and Frederick Barnard of Long Island, NY; one sister, Shannon Freeman of Raleigh.

Family and Friends I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful love one. Like I said before I didn't know her but her friends on Facebook have made me feel the love for her. Hold tight to your memories but remember you'll always carry her in your heart. I loved reading all the tributes to her. She was loved unconditionally. Sleep in peace sweetheart.
