To: The Weaver Family, We were sadden to hear of the passing of our dear friend and classmate. Just remember His Journey's Just Begun. Don't think of him as gone away-- his journey's just begun, life holds so many facets-- this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched--for nothing loved is ever lost--as he was loved so much. With heartfelt sympathy, Loretta & Floretta Gooding class of "1975"

Mr. Terry was a very special and dear friend of mines for the past four years. He will be truly missed and never forgotten. Praying for the family and may God Bless

As a native of New Bern, relocating to Raleigh, I would run into classmate, friends and relatives. While working part time in the Salvation Army Thrift on Tryon Road in Raleigh, I noticed this man (in his scooter) arriving almost every day. He was not always shopping...but volunteering. He always spoke and smiled. We got to know each other by gradually exchanging personal details. I was pleasantly surprised to discovered he was my "homeboy"! I looked forward to his arrival because he had such an awesome testimony and we blessed each other with our knowledge of God's goodness. I took another job and did not see Terry primarily because of the pandemic, but my heart broken today (9.14.21)when I was informed of his passing. Rest Soldier. It is well.8APCGQS

To the last time we were together at your Sister' Yvette's Birthday party in Charlotte NC ! I missed your call on Tuesday morning ! I kept the voice message " you simply said I am praying for your brother Jamison " ! When I heard the news of your passing " I smile and said "Terry has his wings" I know you excepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior" .
