Troy Anthony Wharton, was born May 30 1965 in Georgetown Guyana. On Tuesday August 12 in Lauderhill Florida he transitioned from this earthly place.
At the age of 11 he left South America and moved to Brooklyn New York. He was also a former resident of New Bern.
His funeral service is 3:00 PM Thursday August 21, 2025 at The Genesis Funeral Home Hollywood, FL
He was son, father, friend and just an overall stand up guy. He is survived by his children Akeem Wharton, Juwan Wharton, Saquoa Wharton and Meshach Wharton; the mothers of his children, Tracy Holder Harris and Verona Bryant, a host of family and friends; a special and dedicated girlfriend, Aisha Delgado.

My comment to the Wharton family Troy was a great guy
My heartfelt condolences to the children, grandchildren, and mothers of his children. Met Troy in the early 90s via Verona. Very quiet man but when he spoke he spoke with wisdom. He taught me back then that England had once had a black queen. I was just an early teen and I thought he was crazy. I found it to be factual later in life. I can still hear him call Verona's name. Sorry to hear of his passing, he was a cool dude. To my niece and nephew I'm praying for you guys. Losing a parent is hard. God bless his soul and his family.
