William Marshall Kornegay of Myrtle Beach; passed on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
He was a native of the Pleasant Hill Community of New Bern and a graduate of J. T. Barber High School Class of 1964.
A Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 30, 2024, at New Bern National Cemetery, New Bern, NC.
Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel is assisting the Kornegay Family.

Add A CondolenceFamily of William Marshall Kornegay, though we were not there with during Marshall's transition we feel assured that you gave the best of your love and attention hoping for him to return to the health and vitality he during his earlier days and years. Sadly, that did not happen as you wished and prayed for. In the Bible book of Revelation chapter 21 and verse four in The New World Translation Bible gives you and us the true God's guarantee about our dead loved ones: "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes (survivors of the deceased), and death will be no more, neither will Mouring nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (cancers, dementia, headaches, heart problems, accidents, etc) have passed away".
It was a pleasure to have graduated in 1964 with Marshall from J.T. Barber High School.
