Obituary For Nancy Young

Mrs. Nancy Mae Ward Young, 73, died on September 2, 2022, at her residence in Radcliff, KY.

Mrs. Young was a native of Palestine, AR and the daughter of the late Robert and Endia Ward. She was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and a retiree of Hardin Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Young was also a member of the Red Hat Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight sisters, Minnie Brue Dawson, Addie Lou Smith, Eddie Mae Hawkins, Sara Marie Ward, Barbra Harris, Christine Powell, Patsy Simpson and Edith Holmes; four brothers, Delena McKinney, Charles Ward, Willie Ward and Verlin Ward.

Survivors include her daughter, Felicia Young of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Muriel Young of Little Rock, AR; one brother, Marvin "Neeit" Ward of Houston, TX and one grandson, Marquis "A.J." Young of San Antonio, TX.

Funeral service is 11:00 am, Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizabethtown City Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6-8 pm on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home.

Nancy was not just my sister, she was my friend and I loved her dearly, her memories will forever be with me until we meet again. I thank God for the laughter, joy and love that we shared our lifetime. It took something out of me when our brother Marvin told me that you had transitioned. Reality setin and I thought all my sister and brothes are gone and Marvin and I are left all alone here.So we are going to be here for each other until we get up in that great hallelujah moment, what a time that is going to be . So with that being said I'll see you soon Na Mae as I always called you❤️❤️❤️

I'm going to miss you

Nancy was my great aunt. I never met her but I know my grandfather loved his sister very much. So she will forever hold a place in my heart. Love you aunt Nancy

Felicia I think I've only met you once. I really wish I could attend her services but at this time, I cannot make it. You and your son are in my prayers.
