My name is Faye McGhee and I was reading about the death of your loved one and I wanted to write to say how sorry I was to read of it. Death is such a painful thing but the bible gives us comfort. It tells us at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4 that 'God is the God of all comfort and He comforts us in our trials and after He has comforted us we comfort others'. What a wonderful God to make us feel better. The bible at 1 Corinthians 15:26 says that 'death is an enemy'. So this is in harmony with Revelation 21:4 'God will do away with death, sickness, mourning, outcry nor pain be anymore. It goes on to say 'the former things have passed away.' So this is the time we are waiting on. Well I do hope you have been comforted by these scriptures. If you have any questions or comments please email me at bfcm1972@gmail.com or go to www.jw.org
My name is Oliver K. Blue Jr. and I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Faye in college at Winston-Salem State University. We were both business majors and took many classes together. In 1981 we both received our degrees in Business Administration. She was truly a friend in deed and very helpful. I salute her as she returns to her Father’s heart where He would have her be.
