Roderick "Ricky" Francis Allen

This wonder and compassionate man gave so much of himself to me and so many people he knew in his life. He will be forever missed and was loved by so many. May he sing with the angels in high.

Rick and I became friends while working at the Enrichment Center. We worked together for years, and later on he hired me to work for him at the day care. He was a dear friend to me and taught me so much about life and surviving out in the world. He would always say, "you gotta stay a step ahead - always have a plan B". He taught me how to plan, set goals, to work hard, and not take any crap! But to always be kind. He was smart, funny, and one of the kindest, most generous men I ever knew. We had so many laughs together over the years. I love you and will never forget you, Rikki. I'll be seeing you again.

I knew Ricky forever ago. He was so good with children. He was one of the people that tried to save my son's life while at the Enrichment Center. RIP my friend.

From childhood friends to adulthood Ricky was always cool and loved to drive classy cars.I also remember the days when he played baseball as a pitcher and also the days when he accepted Christ and became a Minister....Life is short when we look back at our own lives and I believe Ricky lived his to the fullest Rest in Peace my friend...!🙏🏽
