Deacon Bryan Keith Faulk was born on April 24, 1966 to Velma Finnick Faulk and the late George Faulk. He was raised in a loving Christian home, where the true values of life were taught. God called home his servant unexpectedly on December 26, 2023 at High Point Medical Center.
Bryan at an early age, loved God and loved attending Sunday school, church services and youth activities at St. Luke United Holy Church in Rose Hill, NC. As a child, Bryan taught himself to play the piano and saxophone and found his passion for music and singing.
Bryan graduated from Wallace Rose Hill High School in Teachey, NC in 1984. After high school, he continued his education at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (Aggie Pride). Bryan followed his call to serve others and enlisted into the United States Marines and was honorably discharged in the late 1980s. Bryan met the love of his life, Aquinetta Brown, on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University in 1988. They were united in holy matrimony on March 10,1994 and from this union, one child was born.
Bryan continued to serve others as he worked for the United States Postal Service as a supervisor for 29 years. Bryan retired from the United States Postal Service in June 2023. He did not plan to stop working when he retired. His new excitement to serve others came in the vision to become an entrepreneur. The Peach Cobbler Factory journey began and was birthed in November of 2023, with the grand opening on December 2nd.
Bryan was devoted to his faith and was a steadfast member of Clifton Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and the Minister of Music. He took great joy in leading his church family in song and worship.
In his leisure time, Bryan loved traveling with his wife, Aquinetta. The proudest moment came when he became a grandfather. As Pop Pop, Bryan shined with the joy of a child whenever he played with Ariyah.
Although there is overwhelming sadness, we are comforted by the happy moments and love we hold dear in our hearts. Bryan was a loving husband, father, Pop Pop, brother and son. Bryan was preceded in death by his father George Faulk, brother Michael R. Faulk and sister Gladys S. Robbins.
Bryan leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Aquinetta of High Point, NC and son, Kendall (Briana) of Colonial Heights, VA and his only granddaughter, Ariyah; his mother Velma Faulk of Rose Hill, NC; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Carolyn Brown of Columbia, SC; sisters: Cynthia Faulk Kirkman (Allen) of Colorado; Helen Faulk of Rose Hill, NC; brothers: George David Faulk Jr (Veronica) of Wilmington; George Anthony Faulk of Virginia; Lawrence Murphy (Thea) of Maryland; George Goodman (Anne) of Ohio; sister-in-law Monica Caldwell (Dexter) of Greenville SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Clifton Grove Baptist Church, 3918 Abbotts Creek Road, Kernersville, NC. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at church from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Deacon Faulk may be viewed from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that I write this to you Aquanetta. I am so very sorry for your loss. I can not imagine what you are going through. I do know that God will sustain you and Kendall and the grandbaby. I talked with Bryan probably about 2 times a year via Facebook messenger. He was a great homeboy. Even though we didn't see each other much but we always had a way of picking up where we left off.
Bryan and I sang at a wedding together back in 1985/86. He sang at my wedding in 1987. He didn't live too far from me and would allow me to ride home from A&T during breaks. We are from Duplin County....is what he said.
I have very fond memories and finding out today 1/4/24 that he passed 12/26/23 only after opening the Peach Cobbler Factory and giving a seminar to the students at High Point Central about entreperneurship is so shocking.
RIP (rest in paradise) my GC4Lyfe Brother..... i love you with the love of the Lord. Blessings and Prayers to the family.

I'm in total disbelief, Brian Fault was a friend of our family. We grew up together and my brother and Brian was best friend. We called him, Tom Dooley. Brian and Kurt was the youngest kids on the block. I remember them running and playing together because no one else will play with them because they were young when Kirk passed away in 2010 Brian called me and said he waned to single solo and play the keyboard. Kirk and Brian I'm sure are hanging out again in heaven looking over the family my condolence to the Fault family to his mother, siblings, wife, son and grandson. My prayers is with you guys I pray that God give you strength over the days, months and years to come.

Bryan was a vital part of our community, "the Lake Tut Road Community," in which he grew up. He was "always" willing to help anyone. As a young man in high school, I can remember hear him singing and playing the piano on a summer's day, in their house. We are a close knit community. When one is in grief, we all share the grief. Bryan was a "gentle giant" who will be sorely missed. The Williams family (next door in Rose Hill) extend our deepest sympathy to our extended family, the Faulk's, including Bryan's wife and son. Bryan will live on in our hearts forever! Lila Love
I am in disbelief right now. Bryan has always been a good friend to me over the years. I am going to really miss him. Rest in heaven Bryan.
Bryan was one of those classmates that everyone liked. There was never anyone he didn't get along with. Your presence graced us all. Your sweet soul will truly be missed. Take your rest my friend.
I AM GOING TO MISS BRYAN COMING INTO ZAXBY'S AND JUST CUT UP WITH THE ENTIRE CREW. WE ALREADY KNEW WHAT HE WANTED TO EAT AND WHEN THE COOKS SAW HIM STANDING AT THE COUNTER, THEY MADE HIS FOOD. BRYAN YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSED AND I WAS HEADED TO THE PEACH COBBLER FACTORY TO SEE YOU, BUT I WILL SEE YOU ON THE GOLDEN STREETS....RIP MY FRIEND UNTIL THEN... SHERYL YARRINGTON
