Obituary For Mr. Johnny Mack Medley

Mr. Johnny Mack Medley, Sr., 80 entered into eternal rest on January 20, 2020 with his family by his side at Wake Forest Baptist Health High Point Medical Center. He was born on April 7, 1939 in Monroe, NC to the late Nannie Mae Watts and Jonah Medley and raised by his stepfather, Willie Watson. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one son, Bobby Medley.

He leaves cherished memories to his wife, Mrs. Pearline Watts Medley and his precious baby girl, Miracle who was being raised in the home; three sons, Maurice (Vicky) Medley of Silver Spring, MD, Ronnie (Joyce) Medley of New Bern, NC and Johnny M. Medley, Jr. of High Point, NC; four daughters, Johnnie Mae Medley, Dehavia Medley of High Point, NC, Trinette Ezerette of Hampton, VA and Kim Medley of California; three stepsons, Jeffrey Medley, Patrick Medley and Derrick Medley of High Point, NC; one stepdaughter, Pamela Coleman of California; one brother, Eugene Watson of Monroe, NC; one sister, Elaine Tanner of Monroe, NC; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at United House of Grace and Mercy, 1309 Leonard Ave. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. and other times at 1010 Creekside Dr.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
