Maggie and I worked together at Hospice of the Piedmont in in-home care. Maggie was one of the best nursing assistants we had - kind, caring, gentle, hard-working. It was a privilege to serve our patients with her on the team. Rest in peace, dear Maggie. Sue Fairchild
Mrs. Maggie Butler, thank you for being a big part of my life. I thank God and you for sending me your son, Raymond T. Butler. I would've never had met such a sweet, caring, lovable, and kind man if it weren't for God and you. You have always been there for me since day one. Through the bad times and the good times. Not once did you ever turn your back on me. You were always finding the good in people. I'm going to miss you calling me and the conversations we had. When my mom past, it was hard for me, but I had you to talk to. You were there for me, and you told me plenty of times how much you loved and cared for me no matter what. Sometimes we would talk on the phone with no one around to hear our conversations. It was just you and me. Thank you for always being the wonderful person you were and never changing. There will never ever be another mother-in-law like you. I thank you for accepting me for who I am, and telling me that you thank God for having me in Todd's life. That meant a lot to me, Mrs. Maggie. Besides my mother, you was my other mom. I will forever remember our good times together, and you will always be remembered and loved by me until we meet again. I will forever love you.
Love your daughter-in-law,
Cathy
My loving aunt Maggie, a previous caring person. She was always were you needed her to be, giving of herself, loving you deeply. She called me little her little pear shortly after I was born. One day after many golden years I ask her if it was time to call me Romella, she replied; you will always be my little pear. With Love auntie, your little pear. Missing you, your neice Romella.

From you sister Ann, I'm thinking of the good times we had growing up with our siblings. The times I came home to NC you would come to my house at 2 o'clock in the morning we would talk, laugh and reminisce until daybreak. I thank Jesus for the years we were prayer partners and always spoke of the love, kindness and peace GOD surrendered to us. Now you"re one of the disciples who has gone home to be with the Father Love Annie Louise Hayes

To Aunt Maggie's immediate family, you have my deepest condolences. May the precious memories of her bring you comfort and strength. She was an awesome person, she was one in a billion with a platinum heart, and bones made of gold! She loved all of her family and friends! Through thick or thin everyone could count on her through. I miss her and I'm thankful of the many memories that I have of her. Just to name a few, going on a motorcycle ride with her and uncle Butler, she gave me a small birthday party when I was about 10 years old while I was in NC for the summer, and hearing her laugh when she told me the story of something silly and funny that had done. When I saw her she would tell the story and laugh so hard. I will miss her dearly. She's a Bridges gem! God bless you all. ~ love your cousin Angie (NY)
To my cousins and family I want to extend my sincere condolences. Aunt Maggie was the Bridges matriarch and loved to bring us all together. She loved family and friends. I remember the summers I would come down and stay at her house with my siblings. One story I remember all too well is when David Lee was teaching me how to drive; I think I was 13 and I ran into the chimney on the outside of the house and Eddie face hit the dashboard and that's how he got cut across his nose. Aunt Maggie wasn't mad at all. We all was ok and that's all that mattered to her. I'm going to miss her so much but the memories I will cherish.
Sleep in peace Auntie Love your Niece Betty, NY
To my cousins and family, I extend my condolences and prayers. Aunt Maggie will truly be missed. She would do anything she could for everyone. I have many, many fond childhood memories of staying at her home during summer visits and every summer I spent there with my siblings and cousins always felt warm, inviting and like home. I have many fond adult memories of Aunt Maggie and the one thing I can say is she always was the same. She had a beautiful smile, a loving personality and a warm heart. Rest in Peace Aunt Maggie. You will always be loved and remembered. Your niece Tonya (NY)
My Aunt Maggie,
I'm going to miss you. You were not only my Aunt, but my grandmother figure. I love you so much, more than word can express. I hate to let you go, but I know you are in a better place. I want to thank you for always staying on stop of me. You would say to me, you know the sky has no limits. You stood by me through all my storms and my great accomplishments, with your sweet smile. When, I would mess up you would get in your car ring the door bell and say now what's wrong with you. These memories will always stay with me.
