William was a dear friend to my father Cecil Salyers they worked together at Saunders Leasing that's where I got to know William going to the shop with my dad. When I think of William I think of a true friend. A man with great character and had a good work ethic. He will truly be missed. Greg Salyers
Praying for comfort, peace, and strength for the family. William was a friend of our family for 47 years and we will miss him dearly. His memories will forever remain in our hearts. My daughter called him Uncle William because her dad (Sylvester, AKA as "Dickie") were like brothers. When he moved to California, we kept in touch. When he would go home, he would stop by to say hello. Upon his return from California, he still kept in touch. God knows and He cares about us. Willease Pringle James (Cabble) and Dione
