Dear Mitchell Family Members: I am Mervin O. McCoy from Norfolk, VA. After serving with the101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, KY, I moved to Memphis, TN and taught at Manassas High School from 1960 to1965. During my stay in Memphis, I met Brother Mitchell at our Fraternity meeting and we remained in contact each time I returned to visit in Memphis.

Pam and I were very saddened when we heard of his demise today. However, our family has always found PEACE and CLOSURE in Hebrews 11-16, KJV, where GOD has prepared for them a Brand New City in a Better Country. We are certain that your Faith will continue to Sustain you now and in the days and weeks to come.
