Alcolu, SC
William Bell, the son of the late Robert Bell, Sr. and Margaret Frierson Bell, was born April 21, 1945 in Alcolu, South Carolina. On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, God called him home at his residence. He was preceded in death by his siblings: James H. Bell, Harold Bell, Ida Bell Gillens, John Bell, Minnie Lee Bell and Robert Bell, Jr.
He received his formal education in the public schools of Clarendon County and was a 1965 graduate of Manning Training School. He continued his education and became a licensed Plumber and Electrician.
Being reared in a Christian home, at an early age he accepted Christ and joined Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to discuss the Bible.
William was joined in holy matrimony to Geneva Conyers on September 10, 1967. This union was blessed with three sons. One son, Wayne Bell, preceded him in death.
“Wil-lam”, as he was affectionately called, was always Happy Go Lucky, and he had a beautiful smile and a laugh that would just light you up. His laughter was contagious. He brought much laughter and joy to everyone. Bell was the neighborhood plumber and electrician known by everybody. He loved his work and everyone loved Bell. He was one of a kind.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Geneva Bell; two sons, Corey (Lakeshia) Bell and J.R. (Latonya) Bell; a sister, Bertha Bell; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six nieces, Tiffany Huling, Opral Darley Bell, Satara Bell, Terry Bell, Teresa Bell, Ryan Bell Bates; five nephews, Ulysee Huling, III, Andre Huling, Reed Bell, Rodney Bell and Wendell Roberts; four brothers-in-law; six sisters-in-law; a host of many other relatives and friends.

Bell was a delight when he visited Electrical Wholesalers (closed in 2003). He always made the day so much brighter when he was there. May God comfort the family and friends during this time of loss. Surely he is walking with Jesus. Love Peggy Newman Waddell
