Gill was my military buddy who had a good heart. During military drills, both Wanda and Gill would welcome me to their home. I will be always grateful for their hospitality. Cous! Thank you for always, always making me laugh. Your impersonations were the funniest. Thank you for always being consistent, compassionate and caring by being you. You babysat me, made me my 1st apple pie from scratch with the apples from the tree, taught me how to eat crabs and you sneaked me into my first HBCU dance at VUU when I was 15.
