This loss was unexpected, and although this is realization and tough, we will get through this as Dorothy would expect nothing less. Having said that, I want to mention a few positives that were shown over the years. First, I want to be candid about the impact she had on me as I transitioned to an adult, as well as the entire family as a loving, kind, and compassionate individual who possessed love that knew no boundaries. The dedication to provide support and give directions no matter the situation and for that, we will always remain in her debt. Second, there have been instances where she assisted me in growing to be who I am today. The guidance given helped me to be hired as the first surveillance officer for the State of Virginia Department of Corrections, as well as continue military service to our country. Most importantly, the positive outlook she possessed that impacted the entire family, to include those who weren't immediate family members. These attributes will forever be remembered and treasured because of the love given. (Big Smile). Finaly, my family is grateful to have been impacted by the thoughtfulness and kindness given, we will miss her, but we also know that he who knows us all has bigger plans for Dorothy. From Jeronald, Dawnne, Marcus, Brandon and Jeron (Love You).
