My deepest sympathy to my dear cousins in the passing of their mother. Love, Roberta
Dear Joseph & Kelvin Barnes Your mother spoke often of her sons during and after our Book Lovers' meetings. Your lovely mother was our Leader during our 90th Anniversary but due to her health ask me to "Stand-In". However, Book Lover Peters worked behind the scenes making our 90th Anniversary a success. During our meeting on Sunday, September 26, 2021, we did not know of her passing, members voted to list her in our Historical records as an Honorary Lifetime Member. I admired and loved your mother, Mrs. Jean Freeman Barnes Peters. Book Lover, Twana White
My deepest condolences to the family. Mrs Jean Peters was a well loved and honored member of the Book lovers of Charleston Book Club. She will be greatly missed. May her soul RIP
