Joyce Robinson Henderson, 93, of Henrico, departed this life peacefully on May 18, 2024, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Henderson and parents, Arthur T. and Lenora Shaw Robinson., Surviving are her daughter, Cheyenne H. Moss of Richmond; son, Carl A. Henderson, of Surfside, FL; grandson, Vaughan C. Moss (Nakia) of Hampton, Va.; sisters-in-law, Jean J.Robinson, Barbara J. Robinson, and Sandra Wilson of Richmond; devoted family friends, Craig A. Hunter and Oria D. Holland of Richmond, a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends throughout the country, who will cherish her memory. Remains rest at Scott’s Funeral Home, 115 E Brookland Park Blvd, where viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday June 2, 2024, and where the family will receive friends from 5 until 6 p.m. at Scott’s Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, June 3, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1720 Mechanicsville Turnpike. Rev. Rodney M. Hunter, officiating.
